He lived awhile in Howard County, Arkansas where several of his children were born. He married Sarah FRANCIS Young on November 30, 1876 FRANCIS was 15 at the time and James 20 yrs old. They settled in Indian territory around Walker/ Wynnewood living at Route 1 Box 39 Wynnewood, Oklahoma. This address from a letter Francis had written her step brother , James Perrin, about their moms death. James had a several brothers but one came with him to Indian territory, Thomas Jefferson Martin b. July 1853 in Smith County, Mississippi. He was married to Mary Clover. They lived from 1920-1940 in Salina, Ok. and are both buried in Bryan Chapel cemetery in Boatman, Oklahoma . Another brother of James W.
