Butts, 82, mother of Joe Butts of Pauls Valley, died Monday afternoon at her farm home on route three, Stratford. She was born Jan 4, 1882 in Tennessee. She had lived on the same farm near Stratford the last 50 years. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Stufflebean Funeral Home chapel. Rev. Bobby Sunderland of the Trinity Baptist Church of Pauls Valley will officiate. He will be assisted by Rev. Jim White of the First Baptist Church of Stratford. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Other survivors include three daughters, Mrs. J.L. Little of Stratford, Mrs. F.J. Mapes of Oklahoma City and Mrs. Claude Bundy of Houston, Texas; three sons, T.J. Butts of Walker, J.H. Butts of the home and Jack Butts of Wynnewood; two sisters, Mrs. Florence Hamm of Daingerfield, Texas, and Mrs. H.T. Butts of Pauls Valley; 17 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
