All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Green Hill Cemetery--Lindsay OK Boysdston Funeral Home - Lindsay OK Charles Martin Mote September 5, 1921 ~ April 25, 2005 Charles Martin Mote was born on September 5, 1921 to Charlie Walker Mote and Grace Jaco Mote in Tupelo, Oklahoma. He passed on to be with his Lord on April 25, 2005 in Norman, Oklahoma. Charles married Dorothy Lucille Ritchey in Ada, Oklahoma on January 14, 1939, together they moved to Lindsay in 1956. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII in the South Pacific. He was a member of the Church of Christ. His occupation before retirement was a fishing tool operator and supervisor in the Petroleum Industry. Charles enjoyed bass fishing and being with his family. He is preceded in death by his parents and one son, Charles M. Mote. Charles was blessed during his life and is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy, one son, Dennis L. Mote and daughter-in-law, Martha Kay Mote of Lindsay, OK, two daughters, Charla Rhodes of Oklahoma City, and Pamela Green and son-in-law Jay Green, of Edmond, OK. Charles is also survived by two brothers, Walter J. Mote, of Washington, OK, and Kenneth Bryan Mote, of Edmond, OK, seven grandchildren; Kevin and Tori Mote, Matthew and Dion Mote, Brandi and Thomas Shaw, Jamie and Brian Caldwell, Ashley Rhodes, Jason and Niki Green, and Nicole Green, along with seven great-grandchildren; Kelton Mote, Sarah Mote, Wyatt Mote, Lawson Shaw, Aidan Shaw, Madeline Mote, and Jack Henry Green. Services for Charles are set for April 29, 2005, at 2:00 p.m. at the Church of Christ, Hwy 19 West in Lindsay, Ok with J. D. Bryant officiating. Interment will be at the Green Hill Cemetery with military honors by the Lindsay American Legion, Ball-Smith Post 23. Funeral services are under the direction of B. G. Boydston Funeral Home, Lindsay, OK.
