H. 'Phil' Phillips October 1, 1919 - April 3, 2006 "Phil" R. H. Phillips departed this life on April 3, 2006 at the age of 86 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born on October 1, 1919 to Hubert T. and Una Belle Phillips in Marion, Kentucky. Phil served his country during WWII in the Army Air Corp. Phil and Dorothy Jane Dustin were married in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on August 18, 1945. She preceded him in death on July 7, 2002. On January 9, 2003 Phil married Beth Jackson in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. He lived in Lindsay, Oklahoma most of his life and was the owner of Phil Phillips Agency in Lindsay, Oklahoma. Phil attended the First Christian Church and the First Baptist Church in Lindsay. He was a past member of the Lindsay Rotary Club. He enjoyed traveling, boating with the family and fishing. Phil is preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy Jane, and one son, Jim Phillips. He is survived by Beth Jackson of Lindsay, Oklahoma, one son, Richard Phillips and wife, Sharon of Tulsa, Oklahoma and his daughter Sue Beth Warwick and husband Bob of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Jessica and Seth Harcrow, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, and two great-grandchildren; Holland and Miller Palmer of Bixby, Oklahoma Services for Phil will be on April 6, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church, Lindsay, Oklahoma. Interment will be at the Hillside Cemetery in Purcell, Oklahoma. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of B. G. Boydston Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be made to Citichurch Evangelistic Outreach, 3160 South 129th East Avenue, Tulsa, Oklahoma 74134.
