All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Marlow Cemetery--Marlow OK Lawton Constitution 7 Dec 2003 Bennie Ramming DOYLE -- Funeral for Bennie Ramming, 83, Doyle, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church, Marlow, with Rockey Keck officiating. Mr. Ramming died Friday, Dec. 5, 2003, at a Duncan nursing home. Burial will be at Marlow Cemetery, Marlow, under direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home, Marlow. He was born Aug. 3, 1920, in Purdy to Francis Layfette and Oceana Mayfield Ramming. He served in the Army during World War II. He married Lillia "Lorene" Campbell Ramming on July 18, 1947, in Duncan. He was a heavy equipment operator for the City of Duncan and Stephens County District No. 1. He lived in the Doyle area most of his life. He was a member of the VFW. Survivors include his wife, of the home; five sons: Bennie Eugene Ramming and his wife, Lynne, Spanaway, Wash.; Robert Ramming, Doyle; Roy Don Ramming and his wife, Peggy, Arkansas; Leonard Ramming and his wife, Calleene, Bray; and Dannie Ramming and his wife, Janie, Duncan; two daughters: Betty Dulworth and her husband, Ronny, Velma; and Fayrene Howard and her husband, Charles, Doyle; 17 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; two brothers: Chester Ramming and his wife, Lena; and John Ramming and his wife, Clerica, all of Marlow; a sister, Lily Ivey, Wilson; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Return to Garvin County Archives: http://www.usgwarchives.net/ok/garvin/garvin.html
