Mrs. Remy died Thursday, May 8, 2003, at her home. Arrangements are by Robbins Funeral Home Cement Chapel. She was born Aug. 15, 1934, in Lindsay, to Bud and Nora Cox. She grew up and attended school in Lindsay. She married Raymond John Remy on Oct. 6, 1950, in Lawton, and they moved to Cement. He died Oct. 25, 1995. She was a nurse at Cyril Nursing Home for 25 years, retiring in 1993. Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law: Tiny Elwana and William Sales, Chickasha; and Brenda Lawana Remy, Cement; two sons: Audrey Clifton Remy and Wesley Chester Remy, both of Cement; three sisters: Marie Gregory and Burgie Engle, both of Lindsay; and Odelia Martin, Blanchard; a brother, B. Cox, Lindsay; five grandchildren: Victor, Tanya, Jessie, Henry and Reba; and five great-grandchildren: Kyle, Kassidy, Kallie, Devon and Alyssa.
