Marion Reimers officiating. Interment will be in Corley Cemetery in Stratford with Krien Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Born April 19, 1920 to Peter Frank and Pearl Vernon (Robertson) Rozzell in Graham, he died Sunday, Sept. 24 in Sulphur. He farmed and ranched in the Sulphur area for over 31 years, coming here from the Noble and Lexington area. He was a former race horse owner and raced throughout the Midwest. He was a past member of the Appaloosa Horse Club, several regional Appaloosa Clubs, and numerous roundup clubs. He was also a member of the American Boer Goat Association and Veterans of Foreign Wars. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of the Prairie View Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Mae Dean, of the home; one son, Jerry Rozzell, Haslet, Texas; two grandchildren, Jamie Rozzell, Sulphur and Jerrod Rozzell and wife, Melissa, Weatherford; two step grandchildren, Eric and Dena Pebsworth, both of Orlando, Fla. and one great grandchild, MacKenzie Rozzell, Weatherford. He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers and four sisters. Pallbearers will be Harold Rozzell, Terry Rozzell, Donald Rozzell, Francis Rozzell, Jim Rozzell and Jerrod Rozzell.
