"Dub" Scott of Elmore City are scheduled at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 17 at Milo Cemetery with Rev. Bruce McCray officiating. Interment at Milo Cemetery is under the direction of Wooster Funeral Home. Mr. Scott, 75, was born to Preston William and Elnora (Hancock) Scott on May 7, 1926, in Milo, Okla., and passed away Friday, Dec. 14, 2001, in Oklahoma City. Dub grew up and attended school in Graham, Okla. He served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II. On May 10, 1947, Mr. Scott married Patricia Hill in Clemscott, Okla. He worked as a mechanical contractor most of his life and retired in 1987. He was a member of the Plumbers and Pipe Fitters Union of Oklahoma City. He was a Baptist and also a Master Mason. Mr. Scott is survived by his wife, Patricia of the home; two daughters: Fritza Ewens of Houston, Texas, and Mitzi Boyd of Elmore City; two brothers: Bonnie L. Scott of Kermit, Texas, and Jimmy D. Scott of Elmore City; two sisters: Trelma Obenshain and Zelma Smith; one granddaughter; two great-grandchildren; and other family members. Mr. Scott was preceded in death by his parents, Preston William and Elnora Scott; four brothers; and one sister.
