All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Brownsville Cemetery--Brownsville CA Bob Stapp Bob Stapp, 87, of Brownsville died Sept. 10, 2001, at Fremont Medical Center. Born in Pauls Valley, Okla., he was a Yuba-Sutter resident for 24 years. He worked in the Kaiser shipyards as an automatic welder and after World War II in the steel industry for 35 years, retiring to Brownsville. He was a member of the Brownsville First Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon until his death. Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Loveth Stapp of Brownsville; a daughter, Cindy Gallagher of Chiloquin, Ore.; three sisters, Clytie Lynn Calton of Portales, N.M., and Mable Harrison and Mary Ann Clark, both of Oklahoma City, Okla.; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Bobby Stapp. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1765 Challenge Way No. 115, Sacramento CA 95815; or the American Heart Association, 1372 Longfellow Ave., Chico CA 95926. Services: A service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Brownsville First Baptist Church, with pastors Chuck Stifle and Wayne Creel officiating. Burial will be Brownsville Cemetery.
