All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Green Hill Cemetery--Lindsay OK Boysdston Funeral Home - Lindsay OK 08/02/03 Bobby Elbert Stewart Bobby Elbert Stewart, 59, died Wednesday, July 30, at Norman Regional Hospital. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. today at Church of God in Lindsay with the Rev. Harold Gardner officiating and the Rev. Brian Archer assisting. Burial will be at Green Hill Cemetery in Lindsay. B.G. Boydston Funeral Home in Lindsay is handling arrangements. Mr. Stewart was born April 6, 1944, in Lindsay, to Homer and Bernice (Walker) Stewart. He married Joy Scruggs Aug. 8, 1964. He graduated from Hughes High School. He worked in the oil field industry until he retired in 1998 because of bad health. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards, dominoes and raising bird dogs. He enjoyed sitting on the porch visiting with his friends and neighbors. He established a long-lasting friendship with Harold Gardner. Mr. Stewart was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Delia Stewart; and grandparents, Tan and Myrtle Walker. Mr. Stewart is survived by his wife of the home; daughters, Monica Denise and husband, Danny Meek, of Noble and Billie Gail and husband, Ray Webb, of Lindsay; grandchildren, Debra Michelle (Shelly) and husband, Axel Aguilar, of Noble, Kelly Danielle and Rocky McClish Meek of Noble and Jordan Isaiah Webb of Lindsay; sister, Maryland and husband, Tal Staggs, of Lindsay; parents-in-law, Delno and Tina Lou Scruggs; three sisters-in-law; two brothers-in-law; and many other family members and friends. Bearers will be Kevin and Clint Scruggs, Brandon Thomas, Jeff Staggs, Leonard Clark and Bryan Jensen. Honorary bearers will be Ronnie Durham, Paul Phillips, Dave Allison, Bill Mercer, Don Thompson, Charles Oleo and Ben Jones.
