She passed away in Bakersfield, California, on April 9, 2003. For as long as we can remember Moms joy and love was her family. She was a beautiful strong willed, hardworking, stubborn woman who had strength and courage that could move mountains. Mom loved being outdoors and working in her garden. She loved her Arts & Crafts and collecting all sorts of things. Dancing was one of her joys along with cooking for her family. Mom will be greatly missed by those who loved her. We will all miss your coleslaw. Love, your family. Lorraine was preceded in death by her daughter, Helen Berg. Lorraine is survived by her daughter, Alma J. Peterson; sister, Betty Blair; brothers, Billy, Roy, Buster and Junior Wade; 9 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchild-ren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
