All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Green Hill Cemetery--Lindsay OK Boysdston Funeral Home - Lindsay OK Bill Gene Wilhoit December 5, 1933 ~ May 18, 2005 Bill Wilhoit was called home on May 18, 2005 at the age of 71. He was born on December 5, 1933 to Isaac and Dollie Wilhoit in Lindsay, Oklahoma. He graduated from Lindsay High School and has lived in the Lindsay area all of his life. He married Joyce Kitsmiller on January 24, 1967 in Gainsville, Texas. He was a member of the First Baptist Church. Bill had a number of interests in his life. He was a member of the Payne Basketball Team, FFA, FFA Alumni, and was an ordained minister and pastored at Criner, Oklahoma. He enjoyed fishing, nascar races, spoiling the grandchildren, farming, teaching Sunday School, directing nursing home services, and was a music director. Bill was a farmer and raised cattle and hogs. He is preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Doris (Dick) Claybrooks, and three brothers, Leroy (Bug) Wilhoit, and Wilson (Hoot) Wilhoit, Othel (Sie Wilhoit, and his father-in-law, Pete Snelson. Bill is survived by his wife, Joyce, of the home, one son, Donny Wilhoit and his wife Rebecca, of Blanchard, one daughter, Kathy Jo and her husband Stanley Burns, of Purcell, Ok, one step-son, Randy Kitsmiller, of Moore, Ok, his mother-in-law, Kathy Snelson, of Lindsay, one sister, Opal (Tutta) Hodges of Little Rock, Arkansas. Bill is also survived by two grand-children, Trevor and Paige Burns, four step grandchildren, Greg Chavez, Sammy Kitsmiller, Erin Rankin, and Jon-Erik Periman, one step great grandson, Hayden Rankin, and numerous nieces and nephews. Services for Bill are scheduled for Saturday, May 21, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church, Lindsay, Oklahoma. Interment will be at the Green Hill Cemetery, Lindsay, Oklahoma. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of B. G. Boydston Funeral Home.
