What she did'nt mention is that the book was published by the Rush Springs Gazette. My late wife's uncle Bob Bond worked for the newspaper and he was the editor of the book. Copies of this book are very rare. The only one I know that exists is in the Glover-Spencer Memorial Library in Rush Springs. I now have my own copy of "History of Rush Springs" It is in excellent shape. I will be donating to the Library in Rush Springs or the Oklahoma Historical Society as soon as I am through transcribing it. Prior to the establishment of the new cemetery, settlers were buried in an old cemetery located about one mile north of the present town of Rush Springs. Most of the grave stones have disappeared, but on August 31, 1949, the following names were found on remaining stones: Sallie G. Roberts, P. E., wife of Samuel Brown, Synthia J., daughter of G. J. & M. J. Newton.
