Became a part of Grady County in 1911. AGAWAM Dist #58 was established 28-Jul-1910 twelve miles south of Chickasha. Named for a New England Indian Village. ALEX Dist #56 was established 10-Dec-1907 thirteen miles southeast of Chickasha and named for William Alexander. AMBER Dist #28 was established 09-Dec-1907 eight miles northeast of Chickasha and named for the yellow flax blooms. ANTIOCH Dist #22 was established 19-Jun-1909 near Meridian. ANTIOCH was a subscription school located close to Bridge Creek. ARCADIA Dist #126 was established 14-Feb-1902 two 1/2 miles north and 4 miles west of Pocasset. ASKEW Dist #35 was established 17-Jan-1908 near Amber and was named after the Askew family. BAILEY Dist #81 was established 19-Dec-1907 twelve miles northeast of Marlow and named after J.J. Bailey, wagonmaster. BANNER Dist #42 was located 1 1/2 miles south of Pioneer and was in Caddo County until 1911 when the land was added to Grady County. BEAVER Dist #4 was established 17-Aug-1908 three miles north and four miles west of Tuttle. It received its name from the Beaver Creek. BRADLEY Dist #63 was established 09-Dec-1907 six miles northwest of Lindsay. Was named after W.P. Bradley a local rancher. BRICK Dist #32 was established 27-Jan-1908 northeast of Middleburg. BRIDGECREEK Dist #95 was established 10-Dec-1907 six miles east and four miles south of Tuttle. BROOKSIDE located one mile north of Norge. BRUSHY Dist #34 was established 21-Dec-1907 southeast of Amber and named for the Brushy Creek. BURR OAK Dist #118 was established in 1902 one and one half miles north and five miles west of Minco. Named after an old oak tree that was located close to the school. BURT a subscription school located twelve miles northeast of Marlow. CAMPBELL Dist #16 was established 01-Jun-1909 northwest of Tuttle and named after Jimmy Campbell. CHICKASHA Dist #1 was established 08-Dec-1909. CHITWOOD Dist #61 was established 11-Dec-1907 five miles south and four miles west of Alex. COFFELT Dist #57 was established 10-Dec-1907 five miles south and six miles west of Alex. Named after the Coffelt family. COTTONWOOD Dist #77 was established in Caddo County nine miles west and ten miles south of Chickasha. Became a part of Grady County in 1911. COX CITY Dist #101 was established 21-Dec-1933 sixteen miles southeast of Rush Springs. DRENNAN Dist #23 was established 20-Jan-1908 east of Amber and named after the Drennan Ranch. EAST VALLEY VIEW Dist #67 was established 15-Jul-1908 fourteen miles east and one mile south of Chickasha. ELM FLAT Dist #59 was established 29-Apr-1909 four miles north and one mile east of Rush Springs. FAIRVIEW Dist #78 was located five miles south and two miles west of Norge in Caddo County until 1911 when it became a part of Grady County. FAIRVIEW Dist #125 was located four and one half miles north and four miles west of Pocasset. FILLMORE Dist #50 was established 17-Jan-1908. FOUR MILE Dist #82 was established 21-Jan-1908 six miles south and four miles east of Rush Springs. FREEMAN Dist #44 was first established in Caddo County eight miles west and one mile south of Chickasha. Became a part of Grady County in 1911. FRIEND Dist #37 was established 12-Dec-1907 four miles northeast of Chickasha. GARNER subscription school located six miles south of Tuttle and named after the Garner family in 1909. GILBERT Dist #36 was established 21-Dec-1907 six miles southwest of Pocasset. HAROLD Dist #14 was established 18-Jan-1908 three and one half miles north of Pocasset. HARRIS Dist #53 was established 01-Jan-1908 seven and one half miles northeast of Alex. Named after R.H. Harris, a rancher. HARRISON Dist #80 established 19-Dec-1907 in southeastern Grady County and named after the Harrison family. HAWKINS Dist #46 was established 08-Jul-1908 five and one half miles north of Alex. Named after the Hawkins family. HAZEL DELL Dist #119 was established in 1907 and was a part of Caddo County until 1911. Located four miles west and two miles north of Minco. Was named for four year old Hazel Baker. HENDRICK Dist #62 was established 20-Mar-1909 and named after the Hendrick family. IONINE Dist #93 was located north of Verden in Caddo County, later becoming a part of Grady County. Was named after Ionine Creek. IRETON Dist #55 was established 21-Dec-1907 four miles east and one mile north of Alex. KECHI Dist #76 was located nine miles east of Cyril in Caddo County. It later became a part of Grady County. Was named after the Kichai Indian Tribe. KILLGORE Dist #74 was established 19-Dec-1907 in southeastern Grady county. Named after William C. Killgore, postmaster. LAVERTY Dist #79 was located in Caddo County five miles northeast of Cement until 1911. Named after Lealis Laverty. LAVERTY BLACK SCHOOL located south of Laverty. LIBERTY Dist #94 was located in Caddo County southwest of Pocasset until 1911. LITTLE RUSH Dist #7 was located in Caddo County four miles north and four miles west of Rush Springs. LUCILLE Dist #47 was established 18-Jan-1908 six miles southeast of Chickasha. Named after Lucille Hill, rancher. LYONS Dist #43 was located in Caddo County eight miles west and five miles south of Chickasha. Named after the Lyons family. MASON Dist #72 was established 01-Jun-1910 and located near Cox City. Named after the Mason family. McINTOSH was a subscription school located near Bridge Creek and named after the McIntosh family. MERIDIAN Dist #36 was established 21-Dec-1907 southwest of Pocasset on the 100th Meridian. MIDDLEBERG Dist #86 and #96 was established 01-Jun-1910 ten miles northeast of Chickasha. MINCO Dist #2 was established 08-Dec-1907 on Highway 81, north of Chickasha. NAPLES Dist #45 was established 20-Dec-1907 six miles north of Alex. NINNEKAH Dist #51 was established 10-Dec-1907 southwest of Chickasha. NORGE Dist #88 was established 01-Jun-1901 four miles southwest of Chickasha by Norwegian settlers. OAK DALE Dist #12 established in Caddo county four miles north and one and one half miles west of Rush Springs. OAK GROVE Dist #25 was established in Comanche county six miles west and two miles north of Rush Springs. OAK HILL Dist #124 was located west of Minco. OAK RIDGE Dist #54 was established 23Jan-1909 eight and one half miles northeast of Alex. OKLAHOMA Dist #87 was established in 1907 on the Ferguson Ranch. Named after the state of Oklahoma. OLD TRAIL Dist #83 was established 21-Jan-1908 on the Chisholm Trail two miles east and five miles south of Rush Springs. OSBORN Dist #30 was established 03-May-1910 seven miles east of Amber. Was named after the Marshall Osborn family. The name was later changed to Pleasant View. PARR a subscription school located southeast of Rush Springs. PARISH HILL Dist #117 was located five miles west of Minco. Named after an Indian family by the surname Parish. PEA RIDGE Dist #71 was established 19-Dec-1907 eight miles east and two south of Rush Springs. PIKES PEAK Dist #73 was established 27-Jan-1908 fifteen miles east and one mile south of Rush Springs. Named after the Pike family. PIONEER Dist #131 was established  18-Jun-1917 four miles southwest of Chickasha. PLATO Dist #33 was established 19-Aug-1908 near Middleberg. PLEASANT HILL Dist #75 was established in Caddo county seven miles west and eight miles south of Chickasha. PLEASANT VALLEY Dist #127 was establsihed 04-Feb-1902 two miles north and six west of Pocasset. PLEASANT VIEW Dist #17 was established 21-Apr-1908 northeast of Rush Springs. PLEASANT VIEW Dist #30 was established 03-May-1910 seven miles east of Amber. Named after a family with the surname Pleasant. Was originally called Osborn School. PLEASANT VIEW Dist #66 was established 10-Jun-1910 eight miles east and two north of Rush Springs. POCASSET Dist #100 was established 16-Dec-1907 ten miles north of Chickasha. PRAIRIE DALE Dist #5 was established 22-Apr-1908 southwest of Tuttle. PRAIRIE VALLEY Dist #31 was established 02-Mar-1908 nine miles east and one mile north of Amber. PRAIRIE VIEW Dist #89 was established 14-Mar-1910 one half mile southwest of Pocasset. RICHLAND Dist #20 was established in Caddo county three miles south and six miles west of Rush Springs. ROCKY FORD Dist #8 was established in Caddo county six miles west and four miles north of Rush Springs at the Chisholm Trail crossing. ROCKY POINT Dist #60 was established 28-Jul-1908 four miles east and three miles north of Rush Springs. RUSH SPRINGS Dist #68 was established 12-Dec-1907 on Highway 81, south of Chickasha. Named for the Rush Creek Springs. SALT CREEK Dist #27 was established 12-Dec-1907 six and one half miles north of Chickasha near Salt Creek. It was a subscription school. SANDLIN Dist #39 was established in Caddo county seven miles west of Chickasha. Named after the Sandlin family. SANDY GROVE Dist #65 established 06-Jul-1908 eleven miles east and two north of Rush Springs. Was called Bishop School. SEE CHAPEL Dist #64 was establsihed 27-Jan-1908 on the southeast Grady and Garvin county line. SILVER CITY Dist #91 was established 16-May-1910 three miles northwest of Tuttle. Named for the old town, Silver City. SLATON Dist #70 was established 22-Apr-1908 six miles east and three south of Rush Springs. SNOW HILL Dist #18 was established 16-Apr-1908 five miles east of Tuttle. Named for the Snow family. SOONER Dist #15 was established 12-Aug-1908 five miles north of Amber. SPERLING Dist #69 was established 09-Jan-1908 three miles south and three miles east of Rush Springs. SPRING CREEK Dist #38 was established 12-Dec-1907 seven miles east and two north of Chickasha. STARR Dist #24 was established in Caddo county six miles south and four miles west of Rush Springs. STOVER Dist #84 was established 21-Jan-1908 five miles south and one mile west of Rush Springs. Named after Theodore Stover. SUNFLOWER VALLEY Dist #90 was established 27-Apr-1910 southwest of Minco. SUNNYSIDE Dist #40 was established 24-Mar-1909 southeast of Middleberg. SYLVAN VALLEY Dist #49 was established 11-Jan-1908 southwest of Chickasha. TENNESSEE Dist #13 was established in Caddo county northeast of Verden and named after Tennessee Bill. TIMBER RIDGE Dist #116 located seven miles west of Minco. TUTTLE Dist #3 was established 08-Jan-1908 nine miles east of Minco. Was named after J.H. Tuttle, a rancher. UNION CENTER Dist #41 was established in Caddo county one and one half mile north of Pioneer. UNION HILL Dist #48 was established 09-Dec-1907 southeast of Chickasha. VAUGHN Dist #52 was established 17-Jan-1908 four miles northeast of Alex. Named after the Vaughn family. VERDEN Dist #130 and Dist #99 was established  in Caddo county ten miles west of Chickasha. Named after the town developer, A.N. Verden. VIMY RIDGE Dist #98 was established 19-May-1917 five miles east of Rush Springs. WALDON Dist #9 was established 09-Dec-1907 eight miles northwest of Newcastle. Named after Hosea Waldon, a merchant. WASHITA VAIL Dist #92 was located south of Pocasset on the Washita River. WEST VALLEY VIEW Dist #10 was located four miles west and two north of Chickasha. WHITE was a subscription school established 28-Oct-1909 three miles east of Amber. Was named for the White family. WHITE TEMPLE Dist #29 was established 06-Jul-1908 one section west of Sooner School on the White family land. WORLEY Dist #6 was established 27-Dec-1907 three miles east of Tuttle on Worley Creek.
