Mr. King had started out to kill some crows with a shot gun, while going out his back porch steps, he fell, the gun discharged, blowing off part of his skull. The body was brought to the Hansen undertaking parlor and held until Tuesday, when his relatives all arrived. The funeral was held at 3 o'clock Tuesday afternoon. A very large crowd assembled at the Methodist church and at the cemetery in Verden where the remains were laid to rest. Submitted by Sandi Carter
