Adams was born Oct. 9, 1928, and died on Friday, Nov. 29, 2002, in Oklahoma City. =========== The Chickasha Express-Star 1 December 2002 BETTY FAYE HAWKINS ADAMS Graveside services for Betty Faye Hawkins Adams, 74, of Chickasha, will be held Monday, December 2, 2002, at 2 p.m. in the Sunset Memorial Garden Cemetery, in Lawton, Oklahoma. Betty Fay Hawkins Adams was born October 9, 1928, in Lawton, Oklahoma, the daughter of William L. and Gertrude Rumage. She died Friday, November 29, 2002, in Oklahoma City. Betty grew up in the Lawton area and attended Lawton Public Schools. She had been a sales clerk for several different businesses in the Lawton, Oklahoma and Beaumont, Texas areas. Betty enjoyed working crossword puzzles, card playing and reading. She was a Baptist by faith. Betty was preceded in death by both parents and one brother. Survivors include on daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Harvey Ross, of Tuttle; one son and daughter-in-law, Troy and Kathy Hawkins, of Daytona Beach, Florida, four grandchildren, Travis Ray, of Chickasha, Toni Ray, of Oklahoma City, Christopher and Carey Lynn Hawkins both of Daytona Beach, Florida and several nieces and nephews.
