Services, with Rev. Tom Scott presiding, will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the First Christian Church in Pawnee. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery in Pawnee. Poteet Funeral Home is directing the arrangements. She was born in Rush Springs Sept. 5, 1916, to Grover M. and Maud (Shakleford) Ridley. She married C.G. "Bill" Adams in Oklahoma City Oct. 19, 1938. They moved to Pawnee from Morrison in November 1975. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Pawnee. She was also a member of the Oak Grove Club. The love of her life was her grandchildren and great- grandchildren. She also enjoyed baking hot rolls, cobblers and pies for school clubs, Masons and Dr. Laird's office. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a daughter, Janetta Brown; brothers, Hugh, Harl, Jay and Bat Ridley; and a sister, Sue Carter. She is survived by her husband of Pawnee; children, Georganna Childress of Edmond, Grover "Bud" Adams of Altus, Sandra Reigles of Boise, Idaho, Lanetta Henry of Morrison, Dora Mae "Pinky" Miles of Cushing, and Charlie Adams of Laverne; sisters, Winnie Alley of Pawnee, Ruby Roberson of Pampa, Idaho, and Dora Lee Roger of Grandview, Idaho; brother Wayne "Alec" Ridley of Grandview, Idaho; nine grandsons, nine granddaughters, 13 great-grandsons and five great- granddaughters and a number of other relatives and many friends. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Return to Grady County Archives: http://www.usgwarchives.net/ok/grady/grady.html
