Burial will be in the Rush Springs Cemetery under the direction of Callaway- Smith-Cobb Funeral Home. ========== ©The Chickasha Express-Star 25 July 2003 GEORGIE ANN AUTRY Funeral service for Georgie Ann Autry, 99, of Marlow, will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 25, 2003, at the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel, Rush Springs, Oklahoma, with John Kerr Officiating. Georgie Ann Autry was born August 5, 1903, at Glenrose, Texas, to Hugh Woodford Riggs and Martha Josephine (Latham) Riggs, and died Wednesday, July 23, 2003, at the Gregston Nursing Home in Marlow. She married John Egbert Autry on October 9, 1919, in Chickasha. He preceded her in death on August 28, 1966. When Georgie was five years old, she traveled to Rush Springs in a wagon train and settled in the community, south of town. She was a homemaker and a farmer. Georgie attended the First Assembly of God Church in Rush Springs. She is preceded in death by parents, husband and daughter, Laverne Ragsdale. Survivors include: grandson: Joe Thomas of Oklahoma City, OK; 4 granddaughters: Linda Wilkerson of Oklahoma City, OK, Judy McDonald of Tuttle, OK, Julie Williamson of Duncan, OK, and Janet Durbin of Oklahoma City, OK; nephew: Billie White of Duncan, OK. Pallbearers: Joe Thomas, Gary Williamson, Tom McDonald and George Lurry.
