ANDERSON Memorial services for Dena Y. Anderson, 72, of Verden, Okla., are pending with Ferguson Funeral Home. Dena Y. Anderson was born Dec. 31, 1931, in Gladewater, Texas, and died on Saturday, Feb. 28, 2004, in Chickasha, Okla. ========= The Chickasha Express-Star 3 March 2004 DENA Y. ANDERSON Memorial service for Dena Y. Anderson, of Verden, will be held at 10:00 a.m. March 3, 2004, at First Baptist Church, Verden. Reverend Johnny Wray will be officiating. Dena Anderson was born December 31, 1931, to Robert Gibson of Marlow and Ada Y. Haggard Ward of Chickasha, in Gladewater, TX. She passed away February 28, 2004, at Chickasha, OK. She was active in sports. She was the first woman to receive a general contractor's license in the State of California. She was a LIttle League coach, Cub Scout leader, and a retired executive secretary. She loved gardening, fishing, crafts and sewing. She was preceded in death by her first husband, William Eads, in 1973, as well as three brothers and her parents. Also preceding her in death were her adoptive parents, Raymond Ward and Maudie Haggard Ward of Blythe, CA. She is survived by her husband, William Anderson; five brothers, Bobby Shahan of Chickasha, Jack and Shirley Ward of Verone, MO, Roy and Vera Ward of Chickasha, William Gibson of Blanchard, and Dante Gibson of Marlow; two sisters, Betty Ferguson of Chickasha and Linda Wilmonth of Marlow; four children, C.
