August 2004 BERT THOMAS ARNOLD Funeral service for Bert Thomas Arnold, age 88, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, will be held 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, August 10, 2004, at the Bible Baptist Church in Chickasha. Bert Thomas Arnold was born August 10, 1915, in Lone Grove, Oklahoma. He was the son of Frank and Ruth (Fisher) Arnold. He died Saturday, August 7, 2004, in Chickasha. Mr. Arnold had lived in Chickasha for almost 40 years. He married Lavida Hawthorn March 7, 1970, in Wichita Falls, Texas. She preceded him in death on November 23, 1999. Mr. Arnold had worked as a drilling superintendent for the Heimerich and Payne Company for 37 years. He later did independent oil field consulting work. He was a member of the Bible Baptist Church and the Masonic Lodge. He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, three daughters, Arleane Arnold, Barbara Fish, and Pam Jacques, and by one sister and two brother. Survivors include four daughters, Anna Ruth Wilkerson of Oklahoma City, Kay Wi lliams of Chickasha, Pat Pool of Chickasha, Janelle Ludwell of Chickasha; six sons, Jerry Arnold of Elk City, Sammy Hawthorn of Chickasha, Neal Hawthorn of Chickasha, Jimmy Hawthorn of Chickasha, Rick Hawthorn of Chickasha, Kim Hawthorn of Chickasha; one aunt, Thelma, in Oklahoma City; one brother-in-law, Howard Thompson, of Oklahoma City; 29 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
