All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Greenwood Memorial Park--Ft Worth TX Andrews, Paul Eugene 1913 - 2005 Paul Eugene Andrews, 91, a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, died peacefully Saturday evening, Feb. 19, 2005, at a local hospital. Funeral: 3 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel at Robertson Mueller Harper. The Rev. Dr. R. Scott Colglazier and the Rev. Cyndy W. Twedell, both of University Christian Church, will officiate. Entombment: Following committal services, Paul will be laid to rest in the mausoleum at Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation: He will lie in state Monday at the funeral home, where his family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Memorials: Mr. Andrews' family respectfully suggests, in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his name to University Christian Church; or to a charity of choice. A native of Chickasha, Okla., Paul Eugene Andrews was born Oct. 30, 1913, the son of Earl Grant and Mary Tew Andrews. He was raised by his father and stepmother, Ella Grayce Andrews, and graduated from Chickasha High School. During the 1930s, Paul and fellow "Big Band" members traveled on buses throughout Oklahoma, playing the saxophone and clarinet. He came to Fort Worth in 1941 where he met and married the former Angelina Scoma. He was employed by Globe Aircraft during World War II as purchasing agent. In 1947, he founded Wood Specialties Company, manufacturing cabinet fixtures and components. Mr. Andrews retired from the company in 1972. Never one to be idle, "Mr. A.," as he was called, joined his son's company, TTI Inc., where he was in charge of building projects and construction. He retired from TTI in the mid-90s. He was a member of the Fort Worth Sailing Club and the AMITA Club. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Kendall; and his wife, Dorothy. Survivors: Wife of 63 years, Angelina Scoma Andrews; son, Paul E. Andrews Jr. and wife, Judy; daughter, Deborah Andrews Hartman and husband, W.A. "Buddy," all of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Christopher Andrews and wife, Erin, Jennifer Andrews Moore and husband, Joel, Emelie Andrews and fiance, William Graham, Andrea Ware Cisneros and husband, Luis, Allison Ware Beck and husband, Jay, Alicia Ware and Ashley Ware Herron and husband, Michael, Rachel Hartman and Jacqueline Hartman Bainbridge and husband, Donnie; great- grandchildren, Grayce and Eilea Andrews, Tatum Moore, Abigail, Aiden and Anna Beck, Trey Hunt, Kane Salinas, Amber Raza and Colby Bainbridge Greyson; and close family friend, Joe Tress of Fort Worth.
