"Sonny" Boyce, 70, of Chickasha passed away Thursday, Nov. 25, 2004, in Oklahoma City. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., on Tuesday, Nov. 30, in McRay Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was held in the Marlow Cemetery. Born Sept. 5, 1934, to W.T. "Bill" and Loretta (Riggle) Boyce in Medicine Park, he worked in road construction and was a member of the 32nd Degree Mason. On April 24, 1954, he married Cora Mader in Marlow. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a son, Nicky Boyce. Survivors include his wife, Cora "Cody" Boyce of Chickasha; two sons and daughters-in-law, Tim and Lynn Boyce of Bridgecreek, Robby and Jana Boyce of Lindsay; three grandsons, Michael and wife Jenny Boyce of Oklahoma City, David Boyce of Lawton, and Matt Boyce of Duncan; and a granddaughter, Sara Boyce of Lindsay. Other survivors include, five sisters and brothers-in-law, Billie and Jerry Briscoe of Wicox, Ariz., Betty and Emmert Welch of Colorado, Sharon and Cecil Gray of New Mexico, Linda and Doug Bennett of Tecumseh, and Sandra and Charles Isenhower of McAlester; a host of nieces and nephews and many special friends, including lifelong friends, Bud and Dixie Webb of Oklahoma City. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Return to Grady County Archives: http://www.usgwarchives.net/ok/grady/grady.html
