Loren “Cotton” Beasley was born December 12, 1930, the son of Loren F. and Dorothy (Stine) Beasley, and died Wednesday, September 20, 2000 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Mr. Beasley lived in the Chickasha area all of his life. He worked for Public Service Company for 30 years, retiring over 10 years ago as office manager. Mr. Beasley received a Bachelor of Science Degree from USAO. He and Sue Bond were married September 14, 1955. Mr. Beasley served during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the First Christian Church and the Lions Club. Survivors include: wife: Sue Beasley of the home; 2 daughters: Frances Todd and husband, Alan, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, Cynthia Ann Davis of Duncan, Oklahoma; 1 brother: Ronnie Beasley of Newcastle, Oklahoma; 2 sisters: Lorene Dodd of Duncan, Oklahoma, Karen Green of Allen, Texas; 3 grandchildren: Alicia Davis of San Marcos, California, Matthew Davis of Duncan, Oklahoma, Adam Todd of Chickasha, Oklahoma. Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
