Dora Ive Boswell was born August 8, 1908 and died May 11, 2005. Interment will be in the Ninnekah Cemeter under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. ========= The Chickasha express-Star 15 May 2005 DORA IVE BOSWELL Funeral service for Dora Ive Boswell, 96, of Chickasha, Oklahoma will be held at 1:30 p.m., Monday, May 16, 2005 in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home. Dora Ive Boswell was born August 8, 1908 in Colman, Alabama the daughter of Orlando and Bensie (Frazier) Jordan and died May 11, 2005 in Chickasha, Oklahoma. Mrs. Boswell was raised in Georgia and moved with her family to Ninnekah in 1925. She lived the rest of her life in Oklahoma at Ninnekah, Fairview and Chickasha. She and John Boswell were married in 1927 in Ninnekah, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death in 1964. She worked at USAO (OCW) at various positions for 20 years retiring in 1971. Mrs. Boswell was a member of the Epworth United Methodist Church, past member of the Ladies Circle, member of the Ninnekah Home Demonstration Club and the Fairview Quilting Bee. She was also preceded in death by one son, Tommy "PeeWee" Boswell in 1986; two infant daughters; parents and all of her siblings. Survivors includeZ: one son, Wayne Boswell of Chickasha; one daughter, Nedra Adams of Farmington, New Mexico; four grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; many nieces; nephews; and wonderful friends.
