All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== ::Fairlawn Cemetery--Chickasha OK The Chickasha Express-Star Friday, 23 December 2005 Ethel "Sue" Boxley Funeral services for Ethel Sue Boxley, 76, of Chickasha were held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 23, 2005, in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel with David Woods officiating. Ethel Sue Bosley was born July 4, 1929, in Ryan, Oklahoma. She died Thursday, December 22, 2005, in Chickasha. Sue grew up in Ryan, where she attended public schools. She graduated from Ryan High School in 1947. After graduation, she attended three years of college at Oklahoma College for Women in Chickasha, before meeting the love of her life, William "Bill" Boxley. Bill and Sue were married on April 15, 1950, in Ryan, Oklahoma. This union brought them two children: Larry and Linda. They were blessed with 55 wonderful years together. Sue enjoyed making, selling, and attending the local craft shows. She enjoyed cooking, expecially for her family. She was a great asset to the Chickasha community. She has done volunteer work for the local food pantry, Grady Memorial Hospital, and other programs in the area. She was a member of the Parkview Christian Church. She served on many of the committees for the church and donated her time for many of the church activities. She loved her church family and always looked forward to spending time with them. Sue was preceded in death by both parents. She is survived by husband, Bill Boxley, of the home; one son and his fiance': Larry Boxley and Sharyl McHugh, of Chickasha; one daughter and son-in-law: Linda and Greg Rowe, of Liberal, Kansas; three granddaughters: Autumn and Starla Boxley, of Visalia, California and Stephanie Rose, of Liberal, Kansas; two great grandsons: Hunter and Tristin Bosley; sister-in-law: Neoma Boxley, of Edwardsville, Illinois; and many nieces and nephews.
