"DEE" BEATY Graveside service for Orval A. "Dee" Beaty, age 82, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, August 16, 2004, in the Rose Hill Cemetery. Rev. Donald Wright will officiate. Orval Beaty was born the son of Neal Beaty and Mary E. Christopher Beaty on February 17, 1922, in Stephens County, Oklahoma. He died on August 13, 2004, in Chickasha. Orval came to Chickasha in 1929 from Duncan. He entered the United States Navy during World War II and served with the Sea Bee's in the South Pacific. After his war service, he returned to Chickasha. Orval worked for the City of Chickasha for fifteen years. He then owned and operated Beaty's Country Club Dog Grooming until his retirement in the fall of 1996. Orval married Delores Dunigan on October 4, 1948, in Visalia, California. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, three sisters, and his wife. Survivors include his daughter and husband, Dorothy and C. D. Trujillo of Chickasha; son and wife, Dennis & Merita Beaty of Chickasha; daughter and husband, Debbie & Neal Bunnell of Cement; sister, Velma Munn of Chickasha; sister and husband, Lee & Jesse Marcum of Noble; sister and husband, Jimmie & Homer Landers of Noble; eight grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren.
