BETCHE Lillie "Lillian" E. Betche, 86 passed away Monday, April 25, 2005 at her farm in Minco, OK. She was born February 2, 1919 East of Union City to Frank and Rosa (Blecha) Zoubek. Services will be held Thursday, April 28, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at the first Reformed Presbyterian Church in Minco with interment to follow at the Evergreen Cemetery. James Ross, pastor of the Minco Church of Christ will officiate. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to any charity of your choice. Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home, Minco, OK. ========= Tuttle Times 5 May 2005 LILLIE "LILLIAN" E. BETCHE Lilllie "Lillian" E. Betche, 86 passed away Monday, April 25, 2005 at her farm in Minco, OK. She was born February 2, 1919 East of Union City to Frank and Rosa (Blecha) Zoubek. Lillian was raised in the Banner community and graduated from Mustang Schools in 1938. On July 22, 1942 she married Lawrence Eden "L.E." Betche in a ceremony East of Union city at her parents home with the reception being at the Czech Hall in Yukon and they settled in Minco where they farmed all of their lives together. Lillian was a homemaker and farmwife and was a member of the American Legion Women's Auxiliary Unit 215 in Minco and also the WFLA #67 Yukon, OK. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband L.E. on February 18, 2001, her twin brother Billy Lester Zoubek, brothers Charlie and Theodore Zoubek, a sister Viola Buresh and a son-in-law Mark Wagstaff. Lillian is survived by one daughter - Marilyn Wagstaff Moss and husband Roy of Oklahoma City, one son- Lawrence E. and wife Karen Betche of Houston, Texas, two sisters - Rose Maruska of Oklahoma City, Sylvia and husband Jerry Benda of El Reno as well as a number of nieces and nephews, family and friends. Services were held Thursday, April 28, 2005 at 2:00 pm at the first Reformed Presbyterian Church in Minco with interment to follow at the Evergreen Cemetery.
