Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Callaway- Smith-Cobb Chapel in Rush Springs with the Rev. Elmer Whitehead and James McClure officiating. Burial will be in Rush Springs Cemetery. ========= Marlow Review 2 Feb 2006 Josie Hazel Bowles Josie Hazel Bowles, 93, of Rush Springs passed away Sunday, Jan. 29, 2006, in Duncan. Services were held Wednesday, Feb. 1, at the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel in Rush Springs, with the Rev. Elmer Whitehead and James McClure officiating. Burial was in the Rush Springs Cemetery under the direction of Callaway- Smith-Cobb Chapel in Rush Springs. Hazel was born Tuesday, Sept. 10, 1912, in Rush Springs to Daniel and Minnie (Johnson) Luttrell. Josie married J.F. Bowles on Sept. 25, 1934, in Chickasha. He preceded her in death on June 18, 1992. Hazel lived in the Rush Springs area all of her life. She loved traveling and going out to eat. Hazel enjoyed reading her Bible and watching soap operas. She was a member of the Southern Baptist Church in Rush Springs. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a brother, and eight sisters. Survivors include two daughters, Cleta McClure of Rush Springs and Connie McClure of Rush Springs; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great grandchildren; two brothers, Glen Luttrell of Marlow and Gerald Luttrell of Texas; a sister, Lucille Mathis of Roswell, N.M.; and a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Johnny McClure, Reggie Long, Ricky Joe McClure, Chris Long, Brian Jacobi, Greg McClure, Jason McClure and Travis Jacobi.
