Charlene Belt was born Jan. 6, 1934, and died on Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2004. Burial will be in Binger Cemetery, Binger, Okla., under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. ========= The Tuttle Times 3 March 2004 CHARLENE BELT Funeral services for Charlene Belt, 70, of Tuttle were held at 1:30 p.m., Friday, February 13, 2004 at the Tuttle Assembly of God Church. Charlene Belt was born January 6, 1934 in Anadarko, Oklahoma the daughter of Alva and Amanda (Johnson) Wilkerson and died Tuesday, February 10, 2004 at her home in Tuttle. Charlene graduated from Oney High School in 1952. She and Billy Ray Belt were married June 6, 1955, and he preceded her in death February 3, 1987. They moved to Tuttle in 1962. Charlene owned and operated Tuttle Cafe for 16 years. She was currently working as a cook for the Tuttle Senior Citizens. Charlene was also preceded in death by one daughter-in-law: Darla Jean Belt, January 8, 1989. Survivors include two sons: Steven Ray Belt of Cogar, Mark Duane Belt and wife Brenda, of Cogar; one brother: J.B. Johnson of Noble; one sister: Mildred Leota Case of Tuttle; three grandchildren: Sonya Belt of Tuttle, April Loveless of Tuttle, Billy Joe Belt of the home; one great grandchild: Koby Lane Loveless of Tuttle.
