OBITUARY


Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Boan was born in Eddyville, Iowa, July 30, 1857, being 
seventy-five years old the 30th of this month.

She had lived in Iowa most of her life.  Her former husband, Riley Acton, 
died 1[3?] years ago, then she was married to Eli Boan and they moved to 
Wyoming.  There they lived ten years, coming to Oklahoma to live in the 
Masonic Home at Guthrie.  Eli preceded her in death two years ago.

She has one brother living and five brothers and six sisters who are not 
living.  The one remaining brother is Levi Zornes of Auria, Nebraska.

She was converted and joined the Baptist church when sixteen years old and 
was a constant worker and teacher in the church and Sabbath school.

The funeral was conducted by Rev. Hedrick and interment made in the Verden 
cemetery last Thursday.
