Alice Norene Bond was March 14, 1910, in Bailey. She died on Monday, April 9, 2001, in Chickasha. Burial will be in the Greenhill Cemetery in Lindsey, under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home. ==================================================================== The Chickasha Express-Star 12 April 2001 Alice Norene Bond Funerals services for Alice Norene Bond, 91, of Chickasha, were held Wednesday, April 11, 2001, at 1:30 p.m. in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel with Bill Tomlin of the Good Shepherd Hospice officiating. Alice Norene Bond was born March 14, 1910, in Bailey, Oklahoma, the daughter of Frank Trammell and Annie Ramsey Trammell. She died Monday, April 9, 2001, in Chickasha. Alice attended the Pearidge country schools during her elementary school years and later attended Lindsey Schools where she graduated from Lindsey High School. After high school graduation she attended a business college in Ft. Worth, Texas. She married Clarence "Boss" Bond on September 21, 1935, in Chickasha. Alice has lived in and around Grady County all her life. She and her husband owned and operated a cafe in Alex for many years, where they also farmed and ranched. Alice was preceded in death by both parents, one brother and her husband, Clarence, on August 18, 2000. Survivors include one brother, Vernon Trammell, of Chickasha; two sisters-in-law, Ethyl Smith and Carolyn Helms, both of Nevada, and Jackie (Trammell) of Erin Springs, Oklahoma; and several nieces and nephews. Interment was in the Greenhill Cemetery in Lindsey, Oklahoma, under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
