Funeral service for Jess Bryan Bennett, Jr., 79, of Ninnekah, Oklahoma will be held at 3:30 p.m., Saturday, November 29, 2003, at the First Baptist Church of Ninnekah. Jess Bryan Bennett, Jr., was born December 1, 1923, in Lucille Community, Oklahoma, the son of Jess Bryan and Lenora (Underwood) Bennett, Sr., and died November 26, 2003, in Chickasha. Mr. Bennett lived in Grady County all of his life. He graduated from Chickasha High School. He was a farmer and rancher in the Ninnekah area. He and Mary Beth Phillips were married April 23, 1949. Mr. Bennett was an Army Veteran of World War II, serving in Japan. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ninnekah. Mr. Bennett was preceded in death by: Parents; one sister: Nadine Ouellette. Survivors include: Wife: Mary Beth Bennett of the home; one son and daughter-in-law: Dave Robert and Linda Sue Bennett of Ninnekah; two grandchildren: Bryan Wayne Bennett of Oklahoma City and Shavouna Beth Farmerie and Garrett Farmerie.
