Date unknown Opal Blanche Bond Former long-time Rush Springs resident Opal Blanche Bond, 84, died Friday, Mar 4 1994, in Tuttle Care Center Tuttle. Funeral Services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 7, in the chapel of the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home in Rush Springs with the Rev Hollis Morris officiating. Music was presented by Alan and Joy Bond and Junior and Geraldine Hale. Burial was in Rush Springs Cemetery. Mrs Bond was born June 6, 1909 in Colony, the daughter of John Wesley Morris and Hattie Tackett Morris. She had lived in Tuttle since 1976. She was a retired cafeteria manager for the Jackson Junior High School in Oklahoma City. She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge in Oklahoma City and member of the Agnew Baptist Church in Oklahoma City. She and Henry H Bond were married in Chickasha on Feb 21, 1925. He died Sept 8, 1975. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Roma Jean Bond. Survivors include three sons, Hayden J Bond of Moore, Bob Bond of Perryton Texas, and Tom Bond of Del City; three daughters, Lavonia Spencer of Rush Springs, Lavada Bond of Tuttle and Mary Carolyn Watson of Moore; 14 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
