                         Obit of R C Bently

Memorial service for R C Bentley, 64, was held at the Southern Baptist 
Church in Rush Springs at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, December 21, with the 
Rev Elmer Whitehead officiating.

Mr Bentley was born November 14, 1935, the son of Henry and 
Jewel Bentley.

He was preceded in death by both his parents; one son, Thomas 
Walker Bentley; and one grandson, Chance Van Buskirk.

Survivors include three sons, Henry James and his wife Kandy of 
Chickasha, Ronie Gene of Ninnikah and Raymond Land and his wife 
Kim of Houma, LA; two daughters, Carol Lester and her husband Jim 
and Connie Smith and her husband Rodney of Rush Springs, 3 brothers, 
Dale of Grapevine, TX, Douglas of El Paso TX, and Tom of Dallas, TX; 
four sisters, Patsy Gay Romon of Fort Worth, TX, Janice Wilson of 
Rhome, TX, Shiela Gregory of Fort Worth, TX and Rose Van Meter of 
Arlington TX; 10 grandchildren and on great grandchild.
