Persons or organizations desiring to use this material for purposes other than stated above must obtain the written consent of the file contributor. ====================================================================== The Chickasha Express-Star 11 October 2001 Vada Pearl Bunnell Funeral services for Vada Pearl Bunnell, 90, of Chickasha, will be held Thursday, October 11, 2001, at 1:00 p.m. in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Donald Wright of the Cyril Midway Baptist Church officiating. Vada Pearl Bunnell was born February 13, 1911, in Stecker, Oklahoma, the daughter of John Wilson and Matilda Powell Wilson. She died October 8, 2001, in Chickasha. Vada came to Anadarko with her family as a small child, where she attended Anadarko Public Schools. Vada married Joseph A. Bunnell in Anadarko on October 6, 1928. They moved to Chickasha in 1951 from Oklahoma City. Vada and her husband Joseph owned and operated Bunnells Trailer Park east of Chickasha for 23 years. She enjoyed cooking, sewing and spending time with her family. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Chickasha. Vada was preceded in death by her husband Joseph A. Bunnell, on February 24, 1995, and both parents and three brothers. Survivors include: two sons and a daughter-in-law, Neal and Debbie Bunnell of Anadarko, Cecil Bunnell, of California; eight grandchildren: Scott and Patricia Bunnell, Tracy and Melony Bunnell, John Moore, Jeff and Paula Moore, Amy and Brad Warden, Lisa and Mark Bennis, Vanessa and Tony Wren and Hilleri and John Abel; numerous great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home. Submitted by Sandi Carter
