Officiating will be Rev. David Mercer of the Minco United Methodist Church and James Ross, Pastor of the Minco Church of Christ. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery of Minco under the direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home of Minco. Mr. Barr was born November 13, 1920 west of Minco to Ben Harrison and Nancy Ellen (Johnson) Barr. He died Tuesday, July 5, 2005 at his home in Minco. ========== Tuttle Times July 14, 2005 WARREN HARDING BARR Funeral services for Warren Harding Barr, 84 of Minco were held Thursday, July 7, 2005, 2:00 pm at the Minco United Methodist Church. Warren Harding Barr was born November 13, 1920 west of Minco to Ben Harrison and Nancy Ellen (Johnson) Barr and died Tuesday, July 5, 2005 at his home in Minco. He lived in the Minco community all of his life. He served in the United States Navy during WWII and worked at Tinker Air Force Base as an aircraft mechanic for 35 years. He married Dora Lucille Dobbins on March 7, 1947 at a ceremony in Oklahoma City at a friend's home. Mr. Barr was a member of the Minco United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by parents: Ben and Nancy Barr; two sisters: Elsie Lemmon and Helen Hiskett; one brother: Frank Barr; and one grandson: James Lee Barr. He is survived by wife Lucille Barr of the home in Minco; two sons and daughters-in-law: David and Sue Barr of Yukon, Don and Betty Barr of Miami, Oklahoma; four grandchildren: Amanda and Justin Severs of Miami, Oklahoma, Angela and Steve Wall of Owasso, Oklahoma, Doug and Shannon Barr of Minco, Jeff and Janie Barr of Chickasha; five great grandchildren.
