H. Brooks, one of the old settlers of Rush Springs, died at his home two miles east of this city, last Thursday morning at five o'clock, at the age of sixty seven years. Mr. Brooks has been ailing for sometime, though his illness did not assume a serious nature until a short time before his death, which resulted from a complication of Bright's disease. The funeral services were held at the Rush Springs cemetery, under the auspices of the Masonic fraternity of which he had long been a member. He leaves six children to mourn his loss, his wife having died several years ago. The Hearld joins with many sympathizing friends in tendering to the bereaved ones its sincere condolence. ========== William Henry Brooks, 8 Feb 1844 England - 14 Nov 1912 OK M 1) Ellen Fitzpatrick, 9 Mar 1863 I.
