All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== The Chickasha Star 14 April 1966 BARRICK SERVICES HELD Funeral services for Mrs. Claudia (McWhorter) Barrick was held at 2:30 p.m. Friday in the First Methodist Church with the Rev. A. B. Hickman, pastor, officiating. Mrs. Dale Henricks, Mrs. Chester Heavin, Mrs. W. A. Finley, and Mrs. Harry Dodson, accompanied by Mrs. Donald Brown at the piano, sang "Abide With Me," "It's So Sweet to Trust in Jesus," and "It is Well With My Soul." Casket bearers were Jess Carroll, Debs Patterson, Oren Heavin, John G. Whitley, Paul DeBoard and Ekle Hinkle. Interment was in the Verden Cemetery under the direction of the Hansen Funeral Home. Mrs. Barrick was born Nov. 19, 1879 at Atlanta, Ga., and came to Oklahoma in 188/99, settling north of Verden. She was a charter member of the First Methodist Church. She died Apr. 4, at Ft. Supply.
