Elmer Schwartz officiating. Mr. Birchfield was born August 3, 1939, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the son of Paul Alfred and Charlotte (Rivas) Birchfield, and died March 10, 2003, at home in Texas. Mr. Birchfield served in Germany as a member of the U. S. Army and was a Quality Assurance Manager for Parsons Inc. in Houston, Texas. Mr. Birchfield was preceded in death by 1 son: Steven L. Birchfield; grandparents; 2 uncles; aunt; 1 nephew; his father and stepfather. Survivors include: His wife: Carole Birchfield of the home; mother: Charlotte R. (Birchfield) Morris of Chickasha; 1 son: Jeff S. Birchfield and wife Cayley; 2 granddaughters: 1 grandson of Texas; 3 aunts; 2 uncles; 3 nieces; many cousins and friends.
