He was born January 20, 1937, to John and Ora (Ogle) Barrett at Tabler, Okla. Arbery married Ramona Holder of Alex in 1959. Arbery was a graduate of Middleberg High School, received a bachelor of liberal arts degree from University of Oklahoma, a master’s degree in business administration from Friends University, and was working on a Ph.D. in business administration at Kennedy-Western University at the time of this death. He served in the Air National Guard for six years. He retired from Cessna Aircraft Company as Vice President of Aircraft Completions in January 2002. Services were Tuesday, October 29, 2002, at the Aldergate United Methodist Church in Wichita. Interment was in Resthaven Garden of Memories, Wichita. Survivors include his wife, Ramona, of the home; three sons, Kevin of Lawrence, Kan.; Ferlin and Brent, both of Wichita; three brothers, Harmon of Norman, Okla., Rex and Paul of Oklahoma City; three sisters; Leora Mills of Alex, Wanda Gaines of Oklahoma City and Willena Naylor of Washington. --------------------------------------------------------------------
