Private graveside services will follow. Julia Burtschi was born July 15, 1908, and died on Friday, April 19, 2002. Private graveside service will follow. Julia Burtschi was born July 15, 1908, in Decatur, Illinois, and died April 19, 2002, in Lakewood, Colorado. Julia lived in Chickasha from 1929-1999. She and Julius Burtschi were married in 1929. They lived in Chickasha where they raised three children. Julius owned the Chickasha Hotel and was a prominent business man. Julius preceded her in death. Survivors include: 3 children: Judith Ann Maloney, of Lakeside Park, Kentucky, Thomas A. Burtschi, of Golden, Colorado, Richard J. Burtschi, S. J., of St. Louis, Missouri; many other relatives in Chickasha including her cousin, Frances Sullivan; 9 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; 1 sister, Betty Kearney. Local arrangements are under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
