Dwain Bearden, age 66, of Frederick, Oklahoma, will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 8, 2005, at the Gray Gish Funeral Home Chapel in Frederick, Oklahoma, with Rev. Charles Wyatt, His Holy Arm Ministries, of Claremore, Oklahoma. Mr. Bearden passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2005, at Memorial Hospital and Physicians Group, Frederick, Oklahoma. Burial will be at the Frederick Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Gray Gish Funeral Home. Clyde Dwain Bearden was born on September 28, 1939, in Mountain Park, Oklahoma, to John and Avis Bearden. He graduated from Weaver High School in 1957. He united in marriage to Sue Jones on June 3, 1961. In 1963, he graduated from Central State University with a BBA in Business. Dwain became an appraiser with the Oklahoma Highway Department in 1964. From 1966 to 1971, he worked for Doane Agricultural Service and Haywood & Daniels Appraisal Service. In 1972, he set up Bearden Appraisal Service in Oklahoma City. He attained the designations of MAI and SREA and served as Chapter President for Oklahoma Chapter of the American Institute of Real Estate Appraisers in 1990. Dwain was an outstanding volunteer for the Boy Scouts of America and served as Scoutmaster from June 1980 to January 1983. He was also actively involved with the Girl Scouts of America and his children's church youth groups. In 1991, Dwain moved to Frederick, Oklahoma, and became actively involved in real estate appraising and sales, in community and church affairs. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Frederick, where he taught Sunday school, and enjoyed his prison ministry in Walters, Oklahoma. He served as president for the Frederick Lion's Club in 1997. He loved spending time with his grandchildren. One of his best loved past times was fishing and cooking for those he loved. He was preceded in death by his daughter: Shirley Jones, on November 21, 2004. He is survived by his son: Joel Bearden, of Amsterdam, The Netherlands; grandchildren: Lindsay, Ada and Ronnie; two sisters: Evelyn Laney, of Frederick, Oklahoma; and Virginia Riede, and husband, Ron, of Muskogee, Oklahoma; and fiancé: Carolyn Howell, of Frederick, Oklahoma.
