Rev. Church Dol larhide of the United Methodist Church will officiate. Edna "Marie" Bryan was born May 24, 1920, at Clarksville, Ark. She died on Friday, May 4, 2001, in Oklahoma City. Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery in Minco under the direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home, Minco. ============ The Tuttle Times 14 May 2001 Edna "Marie" Bryan Funeral services for Edna "Marie" Bryan, 80, of Minco, were held Monday, May 7, 2001 at 10 a.m. at the Minco United Methodist Church. Rev. Chuck Dollarhide of the United Methodist Church officiated. Edna "Marie" Bryan was born May 24, 1920 at Clarksville, Ark. to George and May (Skidgel) Walker and died Friday, May 4 in Oklahoma City. She had been in the community since 1941, having moved from Arkansas. She married Donald Harvey Bryan on March 17, 1942 in Ft. Worth, Texas. She owned and operated Marie's Beauty Shop in Minco. Marie was a member of the Minco United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women's Organization, the American Legion Auxiliary, the Rebekah Lodge and the Eastern Star. She sang in the choir with her church for 30 years. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Donald Harvey Bryan on Dec. 8, 1987; two brothers, Dunk Walker and Theodore Walker; and two sisters, Lena Holcomb and Ida Mae Walker. Survivors include one son, Donnie Bryan of Oklahoma City; one daughter, Jo Homan of Oklahoma City; three sisters, Jewel Best of Clarksville, Ark., Jean Daniels of Fayetteville, Ark. and Lee Forrest of Talequah, Okla.; three gran dchildren, Terry Homan of Oklahoma City, Melissa Oaks of Minco and Carmen Bryan of Oklahoma City; and one great granddaughter, Mikayla Oaks of Minco.
