"MARTIN WILLIAM BROWN Rosary for Martin William Brown, 62, Route 3, will be at 8 p.m. Wednesday in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home with Rev. Wilbur Moore, pastor of Holy Name Catholic Church officiating. Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Thursday in Holy Name Catholic Church. The body will lie in state in the chapel of Sevier Funeral Home until 9:30 a.m. Thursday. Mr. Brown was born January 8, 1913, in Rhineland, Texas. He died following open heart surgery Monday afternoon in Oklahoma City. Mr. Brown came to Grady County in 1950 from Paris, Arkansas settling at Ninnekah, then moving to the Friend and Amber community in 1951 where he has farmed for the past 24 years. He had married the former Rose Wagner on May 19, 1947, at Subiaco, Arkansas. He had been a farmer and dairyman all of his life. A member of Holy Name Catholic Church, he was also a member of the Knights of Columbus, a member of the American Milk Producers Association, and the Farm Bureau. He is survived by his wife, Rose of the home; two sons, Jerome and Paul, both of Chickasha; four daughters, Mrs. Virginia Lester of Ardmore, Mrs. Minnie Mobley of Crescent, Mrs. Kathy Dobry of Del City, and Mrs. Jeanett Miracle of Amber; four brothers, Herman Brown of Chickasha, Albert Brown of Houston, Texas, Joe and Walter of Munday, Texas; two sisters, Miss Ida Brown of Oklahoma City and Mrs. Christine Stengel of Ratcliff, Arkansas.
