Glenn Alton Burnett was born February 17, 1921 in Cleveland, Arkansas the son of Hank and Mettie (Morgan) Burnett and died Sunday March 31, 2002 in Chickasha, Oklahoma. Mr. Burnett lived in the Chickasha area for a number of years. We worked for Rock Island Railroad for 32 years retiring in 1980. Survivors include: Bonnie Burnett of Chickasha, Oklahoma; Three daughters: Carolette Maddox and husband, Richard, of LIttle Rock, Arkansas, Glenda O'Rear and husband, Dennis, of California, Patty Mayhugh and husband, James of Chickasha, Oklahoma; Four sons: Wayne Burnett of Alabama, Orville Burnett of Chickasha, Oklahoma; Todd Burnett and wife, Robin, of Newcastle, Oklahoma; Joey Burnett and wife, Angie, of Texas; Two sisters: Lola Saxton of Roseburg, Oregon; Aline Vantine of Ardmore, Oklahoma: Three brothers; Harline Burnett of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Vernice Burness of Anadarko, Oklahoma; and Leon Burnett of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; 18 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren. Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
