Sherry Bryant was born March 14, 1947, and died on Tuesday, July 8, 2003, in Oklahoma City, Okla. ========== The Chickasha Express-Star 17 July 2003 SHERRY ANITA SHERIDAN BRYANT Graveside services for Sherry Anita Sheridan Bryant, 56, of Purcell, formerly of Chickasha, were held Saturday, July 12, 2003, at 10:30 a.m. in the Fairlawn Cemetery with Donald Sherman and Jackie Listen officiating. Sherry A. Bryant was born March 14, 1947, in Chickasha, the daughter of Cecil L. Sheridan and Freda M. Hoover Sheridan. She died Tuesday, July 8, 2003, in Oklahoma City. Music was provided by Pam Charlson singing "Amazing Grace." Services were under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home. ========== The Chickasha Express-Star 19 July 2003 SHERRY ANITA SHERIDAN BRYANT Graveside services for Sherry Anita Sheridan Bryant, 56, of Purcell, formerly of Chickasha, will be held Saturday, July 12, 2003, at 10:30 a.m. in the Fairlawn Cemetery, in Chickasha. Sherry A. Bryant was born March 14, 1947, in Chickasha, the daughter of Cecil L. Sheridan and Freda M. Hoover Sheridan. She died Tuesday, July 8, 2003, in Oklahoma City. Sherry grew up in Chickasha Public Schools. She moved with her family to Artesia, New Mexico, in 1960, where she graduated from high school. After high school graduation she attended college at Eastern New Mexico. She moved back to Chickasha in 1966, where she attended and graduated from O.C.L.A., now U.S.A.O., in Chickasha. Sherry went to work for Oklahoma National Bank, now MidFirst Bank, in Chickasha and became an Internal Auditor. She moved to Purcell, Oklahoma, in the late 1970s and became employed with the McClain County National Bank where she was presently employed. Sherry was active in many civic affairs in the Purcell area and was a member of the Kiwanis club. She was preceded in death by her father, Cecil, in March 2001. Survivors include her mother: Freda Sheridan of Chickasha; one brother and sister-in-law: Leonard and Dorothy Sheridan, of Aurora, Colorado; two sisters and brother-in-law, Kay and Johnnie Charlson, of Chickasha, Rita Sheridan Miller, of Chickasha; and several uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews.
