She was born May 10, 1952 and died Friday, April 26, 2002 in Chickasha. Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. =============== The Chickasha Express-Star 29 April 2002 Wilma Dean Barnhill Funeral service for Wilma Dean Barnhill, 49, of Chickasha, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 30, 2002, in the Plainview Mennonite Church. Wilma was born May 10, 1952, in Chickasha, Oklahoma, the daughter of Coleman V. "Barney" Barnhill and Grace Romo Barnhill. She died Friday, April 26, 2002, in Chickasha. Wilma had lived in Chickasha all her life. Wilma loved her job at the Chickasha Opportunity Center, where she had worked for 15 years. She loved being around her many friends and family. She enjoyed the Special Olympics and Vacation Bible School. She was preceded in death by her parents, C. V. "Barney" Barnhill and Grace Romo Barnhill. Survivors include: two sisters, Glenda Schmidt and her husband Clayton, of Chickasha, Leona McCool, of Chickasha; four nephews: Verlon Schmidt and wife Bernice, of Rush Springs, Carl Schmidt and wife Debbie and family, of Chickasha, Bruce Schmidt and wife Gwen and family, of Helena, Okla., and Bryce Beaty and wife Julie, of Pocasset; niece, Kimberly Ulin and husband Randy and family, of Norman; aunt, Lillie McCormick and family, of Omaha, NE.
