"Bud" Brannan Funeral for Sumler Louis 'Bud' Brannan, 83 of Chickasha, Oklahoma was held Tuesday, September 24, 1991 in the Chapel of the Sevier Funeral Home of Chickasha, Jim Sheerer, minister of the Central Church of Christ officiating. Singers were John Mosley, Doug Sikes and Verda Winn. Pallbearers were Richard Ance, LeRoy Null, Dick Raines, Walter Locke, John Kiser and Larry Sikes. Interment was in Rosehill Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. He was born December 8, 1907 in Deckard, Tennessee, the son of Albert and Manervia Henley Brannan, and died Sunday, September 22, 1991 in Chickasha. Mr. Brannan and Ruby Ricks were married March 23, 1929, in Chickasha. She preceded him in death, February 27, 1991. Mr. Brannan was a carpenter and farmer. He was formerly active inthe Chickasha Roundup Club. He was also preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Manervia Brannan; one brother, Roy Brannan and two sisters, Lucy Strong amd Mae Lum. Suvivors include two sisters; Evalean Ricks of Chickasha and Daisy McGrew of Midwest City and one brother Toy Brannan of Chickasha." --------------------------------------------------------------------
