Jerry Dale Copeland was born January 5, 1924, in Sallisaw, Oklahoma, the son of Jess and Margie (Duvall) Copeland, and died Friday, January 24, 2003, in Chickasha. Jerry had lived in Chickasha for over 40 years and worked as a carpenter. He served in the military during World War II, in Europe as an infantryman. Mr. Copeland married Rebecca Ann Burcham on September 18, 1954. He is survived by: wife, Rebecca Ann Copeland of the home; 1 daughter and husband: Romelda Ann and Steve Barboza of Chickasha, OK; 2 sons and wives: James Dale and Patsy Copeland of Lexington, OK, Gilbert and DeAnna Copeland of Chickasha, OK; grandchildren: Roxanna Myers, Kimberly Copeland, Jennifer Copeland; 1 great granddaughter: Emily Myers, 3 sisters: Alice Powell, Alta Calhoun, Eva Bryan. Several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
