All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Westview Cemetery--Rush Springs OK Lawton Constitution 18 Mar 2004 Fred Thomas Caveny RUSH SPRINGS — Funeral for Fred Thomas Caveny, 79, Rush Springs, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Rush Springs Southern Baptist Church with the Rev. Elmer Whitehead officiating. Mr. Caveny died Tuesday, March 16, 2004, in Oklahoma City. Burial will be at Westview Cemetery, Rush Springs, under direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home, Marlow. He was born Feb. 14, 1925, in Clovis, N.M., to William Harmon Caveny and Minnie Stillwell Caveny. He married Edna Charlene Townsend on Nov. 19, 1947, in Duncan. He lived in the Rush Springs area since the early 1940s. He was a carpenter and raised cattle and horses. He was a member of Southern Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, of the home; three sons and daughters-in-law: Larry and Karen Caveny, Nolan and Linda Caveny and Lynn and Adrienne Caveny; six grandchildren; two sisters: Betty Stillwell and her husband and Bina Caveny; and several nieces and nephews.
